Aerobic Power's Destination Race Plans


Following the Edmonton 5km, 10km, 1/2, and full Marathon there was positive feedback from runners about the idea of suggesting “destination" races. For the Edmonton event it made for supporting and familiar faces in the start area and encouragement in passing out on the race course. We would like to take that a step further this winter by planning these specific races a little earlier providing athletes more time in advance to incorporate them into their schedules. In addition, we would have available for purchase, 20 week training plans for the Aerobic Power “destination’ races.

If you have a different race in your plans already but similar timing/dates these training plans would also provide you the necessary workout details to get you ready for your race.

Athletes who are part of the Aerobic Power Track Program will have the first chance to train with one of our 20 Week Race Plans specific for their race distance and goal time. Choose from 5-10km, 1/2 Marathon, or Marathon plans. Each plan allows for monthly adjustments as well as open dialogue weekly at the Aerobic Power track sessions.
