With her medical knowledge, outlook on health and her love of fitness Jen was inspired to become a Certified Personal Training Specialist in 2010 to guide individuals towards living their best functional life. Jen continues to upgrade her training qualifications to stay current in an ever changing industry.
Fitness, health and athletics have always been a big part of Jen’s life. Growing up in Edmonton, Alberta, she spent hours as a child on soccer fields and in hockey arenas. When she was 15, she bought her first YMCA membership and has been weight training ever since. Jen took up the sport of Triathlon in 2012 and plans to complete a Half Ironman distance in summer 2015. These days Jen fills her spare time with weight and triathlon training, snowboarding, hiking, road biking and running.
