Looking for one last boost before your tires hit the pavement? Aerobic Power is hosting the Tour de Melt. A 3 Day +1 Mini Stage Race that will hit every component necessary for a strong start to your spring riding or upcoming spring camps. Enjoy great riding company, big screen viewing of the EPIC Sufferfest Videos, and riding with power feedback on our computrainers.


Ride Times:
Thursday April 6 - 6 am, 12 (noon), 6 pm
Friday April 7 - 6 am, 12 (noon)
Saturday April 8 - 8 am

CLAUDETTE'S STORY

On Sunday April 9th computrainers are knights-logobooked by a team or solo for 10 Sufferfest videos in a row. The reservation requires a minimum donation of $250 to Claudette's MS Bike Tour team (link above). The reserved Computrainer can be split up as a relay team (2-10 participants), donated by a business, or taken on by a solo rider. As a solo you are riding to become only 1 of 70 Sufferlandrian Knights in all of Canada by riding 10 Sufferfest video in a row!

WOMEN'S ONLY - LEARN TO RIDE CYCLING CAMP
May 5, 2017 - May 7, 2017

If you're looking to learn new skills and to increase your confidence and awareness on the bike, with the main goal to enjoy the sport more, this weekend camp in the mountains is exactly what you need!

Overview
This weekend is designed for beginner to intermediate women riders who have just bought their first road bike, to riders who have ridden one to two years but still may not feel comfortable riding in a group, or handling different aspects of varying terrain found out on the road. Ride groups will be divided into ability levels to ensure all riders are comfortable and enjoy every kilometre of their ride. Ride distances will range from 30km to 50km The camp will be instructed by professional coaches with over 20 years of coaching experience combined. 

Over the course of the weekend riders will learn:

*Basic Bike Maintenance & Operation
*Optimal Ride Gear to Handle all the Elements
*How to Handle Road Side Mechanicals (without a cell phone)
*How to Ride Safely & Comfortably within a Group
*The Keys to Climbing
*Safe Descending Techniques
*How to Fuel your Rides
*Stretching to Stay Healthy

This weekend package includes:                                                        
*2 days of coach lead rides in the beautiful Rocky Mountains
*Power Point lectures covering all you need to know to be safe and comfortable on your bike

Accommodations

What equipment is needed:
*A bike that is safe and in working order (preferably a road bike, however a cross bike and/or hybrid would work as well).
*If you don’t have your own bike, you can use a borrowed one or rent one for the weekend as well.
*A safe and well-fitted helmet
*A couple “bike style” water bottles
*Other optional equipment: Bike shoes (if your bike requires them), bike shorts, bike specific jersey, gloves, wind/rain jacket, sunglasses
