APTS 2nd ANNUAL GRAND INDOOR 3KM

All right lets start to get serious. We are days away from one of the greatest 3km APTS events of all time. Don't think that this event is not for you......its for everyone. Even the athletes that are not at track and even athletes that think this is not for them. AND even if the only races you are doing this year is GWN and Penticton. This event will be a great test of your fitness. Push the limits of will, spirit, aerobic abilities and physiology for one fun filled Sunday morning. The 3km is a great distance to test the aerobic engine but also push the element of speed. Yes, it will hurt. But "hurt" will be a beautiful burn of the lungs and legs. You will walk away with a great 10 - 14 minute blaster of a workout but also the "knowledge" of max. FAQ When, Where? This Sunday March 21st. 9am. BUTTERDOME. 3km will start around 9:35-9:45 after a warmup. How Great Will it be? Should be great. Don't miss it. Be there. This one will be special. Fun? Yes Cost? Bring 5 - 10 dollars (I am not sure) for drop in to the BUTTERDOME. Can I bring my family and friends to watch? Yes bring as many fans as you want. The BUTTERDOME has seats for 3500. Prizes? Fastest 3 receive a (cotton) T-shirt. 7th place receives a medal. Slowest 3 receive a free entry to the 2011 3rd Annual APTS Grand Indoor 3km Event. Shoes? Bring your lightest shoe you have. If you have track spikes bring them. If you have none of the above just bring what you have. Media? Probably not but have some quick quotes if anyone shows up.

Testimonials

"I wanted to thank you for your help earlier in the year with my IT Band injury. I finished the Sinister 7 and Deathrace this year healthy with no IT Band issues. I actually believe the second leg I completed in the Sinister 7 pushed my glute medius into finally working properly. I really believe the workouts you provided me made the difference this year and I wanted to thank you. To be honest, I didn’t know or necessarily believe I’d be alright after the Deathrace since for the last two years it’s signalled the end of the season for me. Now, I’m in uncharted waters. I haven’t been this healthy since 2006. I want to go after my Boston Marathon Qualifying time."
