Hi [FIRSTNAME],

Arrive Strong and Healthy Next Spring: An Off Season Strength Program for the Endurance Athlete.

It’s the Best Form of Cross Training for Endurance Athletes in the Off Season! Single leg balance drills or performance on the Fit Ball demonstrates in most, the lack of ability to maintain a high enough level of stability to perform even general movements. This will undoubtedly lead to the eventual breakdown of shoulder joints, backs, hips, knees, right down to the ankles with the repetitive actions that occur in most sports. Only when this area is addressed can an athlete then begin to shift their training towards performance gains. If our goal is speed or power then it only stands to reason that the quicker we can stabilize our core, the quicker the body will begin to produce the force required to bring about our desired movement at the speeds we are expecting. Aerobic Power is offering a 6 part series that will provide you with a detailed progression of appropriate off season strength training, Professional dietary advice on early and later off season eating guidelines. Also included in the series will be 2 video run analysis sessions.

Testimonials

"I wanted to thank you for your help earlier in the year with my IT Band injury. I finished the Sinister 7 and Deathrace this year healthy with no IT Band issues. I actually believe the second leg I completed in the Sinister 7 pushed my glute medius into finally working properly. I really believe the workouts you provided me made the difference this year and I wanted to thank you. To be honest, I didn’t know or necessarily believe I’d be alright after the Deathrace since for the last two years it’s signalled the end of the season for me. Now, I’m in uncharted waters. I haven’t been this healthy since 2006. I want to go after my Boston Marathon Qualifying time."
