Kevin's Blog

kevin_mastersEvery now and then, when I'm not busy working with athletes or taking care of business, I find time to write an article or two about thingsĀ that are motivating, inspiring, and educating.

I hope you enjoy my blog -- feel free to drop me a note if you have something you'd like me to cover in an upcoming article!

Training in Spain with Aerobic Power

Most have arrived safely, although there was some interesting travel stories, with planes turning around, passenger heart attacks(not our riders), and major delays with snow storms in eastern US. Once here though I think everyone agrees it was worth the hassle. Upon arrival it seemed greener then past years. That and wicked cycling tan lines on riders already here training with other camps makes it look like the weather has been very cycling friendly. Today it was sunny and 21 degree with no snow in the forecast. In our camp there is a nice number of new faces combined with some veterans who can add a component of stability within the rides groups. Our guides are fantastic and the plan has been developed, its gonna be awesome!! During the weeks to come I will keep everyone updated with stories and great pics.

Testimonials

"I've had an entirely full season of bike racing. There hasn't been one race I have not been prepared for physically. The specificity of training has kept me in form for every race situation and discipline: road, criterium, and time trial."

APTS has prepaired me enough to move up an entire category within 3 months, and you know what? No injuries! I've definitely made a smart choice."
